Mountain Springs Lodge specializes in unforgettable weddings, peaceful retreats and seasonal events, which all center on superb catering services provided through our chef. The F&B program is carefully tailored to the capacity of our chef, working in conjunction with the wedding and event planning team.Responsibilities include Creating and designing wedding, group, and event menus Provide a tasting and meeting with couples to plan reception meals Prepare and execute high quality buffet, family style and plated dinners efficiently Maintain kitchen equipment Monitor food stock and place orders Ensure that al health, safety and sanitization standards are met Maintain a clean and tidy kitchen Requirements include: Advanced knowledge of culinary, baking and pastry techniques Ability to communicate and work as a team with various departments as well as maintaining motivation when working solo. Ability to remain calm and undertake various tasks Excellent time management abilities Up-to-date knowledge of cooking techniques and recipes Familiarity with sanitation regulations
